1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SHRD platform, a service developed and operated by NMESYS. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Account Use & Key Ownership

SHRD does not use traditional usernames or passwords. Instead, all access is secured via cryptographic key pairs generated and stored on the user’s device.

• NMESYS does not store, transmit, or have access to your private keys.
• If you share your private key or key file, knowingly or unknowingly, it is considered a security compromise and absolves NMESYS of all responsibility.
• You are solely responsible for the safeguarding of your cryptographic keys.

3. Uploaded Data / Files

All uploaded files — including but not limited to PDF attachments — are encrypted client-side before transmission. SHRD never receives unencrypted data, and NMESYS has no ability to decrypt, parse, interpret, or access the contents of uploaded files.

• Files are stored as encrypted binary blobs.
• Only the user with the correct personal key can decrypt the file.
• NMESYS cannot and will not access or recover encrypted data.

The system does not interpret or execute any uploaded content. This eliminates potential attack vectors such as malicious document payloads.

Responsibility for file content lies solely with the user.

4. Third-Party Services

NMESYS does not rely on any third-party infrastructure for storage, data processing, or cryptographic operations. All operations are conducted in-house to ensure maximum security control and accountability.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SHRD to transmit, store, or distribute any material that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful;
• Violates the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights;
• Contains or distributes malware, ransomware, or other malicious code;
• Attempts to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the platform’s integrity or operations.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NMESYS shall not be liable for:

• Loss of access due to lost private keys or mismanagement of encryption credentials;
• Data loss resulting from user-side corruption or hardware failure;
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use SHRD.

7. Modifications

NMESYS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of SHRD after changes implies acceptance of the modified Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NMESYS operates.
